Moses π
Fear, injustice, provision, boundaries, and Godβs promise to be with us in all circumstances all feature in these sessions on the extraordinary life of Moses.
Burning Bush
The focus of this session is thinking about how the Israelites were treated so unfairly and how people are still treated badly today when they appear to be βdifferentβ.
Plagues
The teaching here focuses on Godβs promises to be with us when we are afraid, just as he was with Moses when he challenged Pharaoh. The activities focus on the Plagues, with booklets to complete for L1,2 and 3 - all available in the Resource Bundle.
Red Sea
As well as learning about the parting of the Red Sea, children will think about food and how God provided for the Israelites then and how he provides for those who donβt have enough today β often through foodbanks.
Ten Commandments
The Ten Commandments were given to the Israelites to give them boundaries and guidelines on how to live well. How relevant are they to us today?
Tabernacle
The Tabernacle could only be built with what the Israelites had with them β the gold, silver and fabric that the Egyptians had given them as they left. What can we learn from them about generosity?
Battle of Jericho
The Israelites finally crossed the Jordan to the promised land! Joshua took on the huge and daunting task of leading the people and God gave him a promise that he would never leave him or forsake him β a verse that has helped countless people in all sorts of challenging situations.
