I have been volunteering at Aslan for almost a year now. The sessions are full of joy and fun, and provide a safe space where the young people can feel accepted. It’s highly rewarding volunteering for Aslan, and seeing how the young people love attending is a highlight of my week.

I am a mother of twin girls age 15yrs who both have autism and low cognitive abilities. We joined Aslan a year ago and as a parent I am still overwhelmed how much my daughters enjoy and gain from each session. The levels of need are attended to with such detailed, well adapted and of often beautiful work material. The group is so welcoming, but calm and fully aware of each youngster’s challenges. It's a unique experience to volunteer at the same time as observing my girls work alongside others. The relief of having the Aslan family in our lives, teaching us about Jesus in such a precious way is extremely special and I am so grateful to Jackie Potter for her amazing gift of specialised teaching, understanding and friendship.

It is so amazing that ASLAN can celebrate 10 years of supporting precious, young people with additional needs by launching the new website. We have been so blessed as helpers at Tonbridge Baptist Church to work alongside Jackie Potter as she said "yes" to God's vision all those years ago and given of her creativity. It is wonderful to know that through the website other helpers and young people can be blessed too.

I Joined the Aslan Team last Summer and I thoroughly enjoy each Aslan Session. The children attending Aslan are all actively engaged in the songs prayers and activities each session.They all have grown spiritually the last year.

We have been using these resources every Monday evening for the last year. I have 5 children ranging from 5 - 15 and they all really enjoy!!! The tasks can be given to each of them according to their age. Thank you so much.... we will pray for your dedication to supplying these lessons.

We have been using the 'At Home' resources for church at home during lockdown and beyond (while we wait for children's groups to re-open at church). They are brilliant: truly accessible, meaningful for us all as a family and fun!
