Hello Game

The ‘hello game’ is a great way to encourage the use of names and can be played in 2 ways:

Backwards and forwards to a leader

Leader throws a football to one person in the group, saying ‘Good morning (name…)’ as it is thrown. That person throws it back to the leader saying ‘Good morning (name...)’ and it is thrown again.

Leader starts and group continues

Leader throws a football to one person saying ‘Good morning (name…)’ That person throws it to someone else in the group saying their name until everyone has had it at least once.

‍Any football is fine, but I now use a soft football that I found at IKEA.  No one can possibly get hurt by it!
